Smile Education are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a Smethwick based Primary School to provide support to a Year 2 ASD pupil on a 1:1 basis.
This is a part time position, Wednesday-Friday, working hours are 8.20am-3.30pm. There is an immediate start date available for this role, it will be on a long term, ongoing basis until at least October 2024.
About the Role:
- 1:1 Teaching Assistant
- Supporting a Year 2 ASD pupil
- Provide supporting inside and outside of the classroom
- Monitor and report pupil progression
- Support the child with both educational and social development
- Showcase excellent communication skills
- Attend meetings with SENCO as required
- Work effectively as part of a team
