Job Title: 1-1 Teaching Assistant

Location: Daventry, NN11

Contract Type: Full-time, immediate start available

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in a student's educational journey? We are currently seeking a dedicated 1-1 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Daventry. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with a student, providing tailored support to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to a specific student, assisting with their learning and development.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit the individual needs and learning styles of the student.
  • Help the student to stay focused and engaged during lessons, offering encouragement and motivation.
  • Assist with the implementation of any Individual Education Plans (IEPs) or specific learning goals.
  • Communicate regularly with teaching staff and parents/carers to provide updates on the student's progress.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with the student.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support the educational journey of the student.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the student and the school.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or child development (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
