Location: Everton (L3)

Working Hours:
• Hours: 30 hours per week, spread across 5 days.
• Working Time: 8.45am – 3.15pm.

Pay Rate:
• Hourly Rate: £12.82 per hour.

Job Description:
Are you a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in a reputable Primary School? We have a full-time 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant role available in Everton (L3) working alongside a child in Year 1 with ASD. This long-term position will run last for the remainder of the academic year, with the hope being to take the successful candidate onto a permanent contact.

Responsibilities:

Student Support: Provide individualized assistance to a student with special educational needs, focusing on their learning and developmental requirements.

Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement personalized learning plans and strategies for the child.

Resource Preparation: Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources that cater to the specific needs of the specific student.

Classroom Assistance: Support the teacher in maintaining an organized and inclusive classroom, ensuring a positive learning atmosphere for all students.

Behavioural Support: Implement behaviour management techniques and interventions to promote positive behaviour and social interactions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
