1:1 English and Maths Tutor

Location: East Midlands, Northamptonshire, Burton Latimer

Salary: £25.00 Per hour

Job Duties: The 1:1 English and Maths Tutor will provide tailored one-to-one tutoring sessions to students, focusing on improving their English and Maths skills. Duties include developing personalised learning plans, delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to both students and parents.

Required Qualifications: A relevant degree in Education or a related field. Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) is essential.

Education: Degree in Education or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 1 years' experience in UK tutoring or teaching English and Maths. Experience working with students of various abilities and backgrounds.

Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the English and Maths curriculum. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and engage students. Organisational skills to plan and track student progress.

Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in Special Education or related areas are desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
