Job Description

Do you have a passion for working with children? Have you got the drive to make a difference to children's education? Are you looking for a new challenge in your career? Are you a level 2 qualified nursery nurse? Do you want to progress your way up within nurseries?

If you answered yes to all the above questions this is the right role for you. We're working with a nursery based in LE19 who are looking for a new member to join their expanding team. I'm looking for someone who is dedicated and passionate about working with children, reliable and has a flexible approach to the work what will be undertaken. I'm looking to recruit someone who has a strong passion for outstanding childcare. Candidates will only be considered if they hold a level 2 (or equivalent) in Childcare & Early Years. It will be a full time role doing a minimal of 36 hours a week (Monday to Friday) and working throughout different rooms in the nursery.

The Responsibilities:
* Providing excellent childcare
* Having a great knowledge and implementing safeguarding
* Building great relationships with parents
* Encouraging learning through play and other activities to assist with the children's development
* Creating positive relationships with the children and the parents to help with their development at an early age
* Implementing the EYFS statutory framework and observing children and using the EYFS to monitor and record their development
* Providing personal care for the children when required
The Requirements:
* Previous experience of working with young children
* An up to date DBS or the willingness to get one
* A level 2 qualification in early years
* The ability to adapt to different situations and working under pressure
* A fantastic work ethic and caring nature
* 2 references (one must be a childcare reference)
