French Tutor / TA

Job Description

Are you a fluent French speaker ? Can you spare 12 hours a week to help Y11 students practice their French speaking , then look no further we have the perfect role for you.

Randstad Education are recruiting on behalf of a high achieving academy in Bristol for a French Teaching Assistant / Tutor to assist Y11 pupils with their French speaking exam. The role is for an immediate start and is a part time role. You would be required to work 12 hours a week. You could choose to work 3 hours a day for 4 days or do 3 4 hour days. It is up to you !!

The ideal candidate will be a fluent French speaker and will have some previous experience of tutoring French or working with secondary aged pupils

To be a learning support assistant in a secondary school, you need to be passionate about working with young people . You will need resilience, energy and empathy for this role and it is ideal for applicants who have grit, tenacity and the commitment to work alongside young people in an educational setting

Requirements

Our requirements for this post mean you must:

- be passionate about wanting to work with children and young people; any previous experience in this field, even voluntarily, would be an advantage but not essential

- possess the motivation to achieve and add value to the school

- be flexible, punctual, professional and approachable

- be able to establish rapport quickly with children whilst maintaining a high standard of control and discipline

- a degree qualification is an advantage

- be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS)
