We are looking for individuals who:
Have recently graduated and are looking for long-term opportunities

Have experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential)

At Protocol Education our Secondary division are currently seeking enthusiastic, dedicated and reliable support staff who have previous experience working with pupils within mainstream and SEND, roles will require you to work with students on a one to one basis and small groups of pupils. Our team here at Protocol work with various secondary schools who are seeking classroom support within mainstream and general support within their SEND department. The successful candidate must be able to support students that may suffer with challenging behaviour and specific learning difficulties. You will be supported by other members of staff, receive activates set by the Teacher and SENDCo and will support children with their attainment and progress.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about taking on the challenges that come with supporting SEND students therefore you will need to be a patient, enthusiastic and nurturing individual.
A clean and current DBS preferably on the Update Service (if not we are able to apply for a new DBS at a cost of 40)
Previous experience working with SEND students
The ability to work effectively as part of a team, and individually.
The ability to be self-motivated and driven to support the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs.
Excellent behaviour management skills
Experience of working with pupils with moderate learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder and behavioural and emotional difficulties.
