Job Description

One of our schools is currently seeking devoted and proactive learning support assistants to take part in our dynamic and dedicated team around Croydon, Lambeth and Wandsworth area. This role would be to start immediately for this academic year 2019/20, with the opportunity to extend it further.

The roles we are recruiting for cater for students with severe complex needs such as autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and mild complex need

Anyone with experience working with these needs would be very significant but, it is not a must. We look after students aged 4 to 19 and this role will give you the opportunity to develop the following skills:

The opportunity to work in a fun, friendly and supportive team
The chance to support students one to one, small groups and in lessons
Promote self-esteem, confidence and life skills
Encourage good behaviour and integrate within the community.
An opportunity to earn while you learn
The chance to get yourself on the road towards becoming an excellent education professional

Successful Candidates Must Have:

Past relevant experience of working in a childcare/ support working setting.
A passion for working in SEN
The ability to work effectively as part of a team, and individually.
A valid DBS or on the update system
