SEN Support Worker

Job Description

Protocol-education is searching for learning support assistants to fill in the various roles available we have to offer. These roles would be for an immediate star in our schools in the Sutton area.

The schools we deal with have an outstanding approach at meeting and delivering the required needs of their pupils who have special needs and severe learning difficulties such as autistic spectrum Condition (ASC) and learning difficulties.

We provide support cover for pupils aged 3 to 11 years with learning difficulties and complex needs. The school covers for 54 young people and they work in group of up to 6children.

Candidates with experience dealing with pupils of these type of needs will be a bonus but it is not a requirement, however the school will still consider your application.

Successful candidate main duties will be:

Helping pupils achieve their full potential and build their confidence
Passionate about working in education
Experienced or interested in working with pupils with ASD and complex needs
Flexible and able to work in challenging scenery
Interested in working in a different setting

Successful Candidates Must Have:

Past relevant experience of working in a childcare/ support working setting.
A passion for working in SEN
The ability to work effectively as part of a team, and individually.
A valid DBS or on the update system
