Have you the patience to work with a children with complex needs?

I'm looking for a 121 LSA to work in a Primary School in Horley so if this role interests you then please keep reading!

I am currently supporting a primary school that are looking for a 121 LSA to support child in Key Stage 2 who needs support to access the curriculum as with their transition to their Secondary setting. This role is full time and will initially be until the end of the academic year but could go longer for the right candidate. Is this the sort of opportunity you are looking for?

This school situated on the outskirts of Horley. This is a happy school where the atmosphere is relaxed and conducive to high achievement. The leadership team take pride in their diverse community. Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting a child to access mainstream curriculum
* Working on a 1-2-1 basis with a key stage 2 child
* Supporting the child to learn both in the classroom and out in the community

Requirements:
Please note that candidates who do not meet the essential criteria for this role will not be considered.
Essential:

* Experience working in a Primary School
* Knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculums
* 2 references for the last 5 years (1 must be a full child-based safeguarding reference)
* Experience working with children who have special needs



Desired:
* An up-to-date DBS on the update service
* A job history for the last 10 years
