Are you an experienced Nursery Manager ready for your next role? Have you got a track record of receiving or maintaining good or outstanding Ofsted ratings? Then we need you!

A full time nursery manager role is available in the BD5 area of Bradford to start as soon as possible. The position is full time working 4 or 5 days a week between the hours of 7.30am and 6pm on a 3 month temporary contract. This role will involve running the day nursery and leading the team of staff, reporting to the nursery director when required.

There is the opportunity for this position to be extended but the initial contract is jus for 3 months.

You will ideally hold EYPS or EYTS but a minimum of a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare (NVQ, CACHE, NNEB) is required. You will have up to date knowledge on the EYFS and safeguarding policies and must have experience in a management role within early years.

Required:

Experience in a managerial role within a private nursery or children centre setting
A minimum of 3 years work experience with children
Experience of supervising staff
Knowledge and experience of working within and implementing the EYFS statutory framework
Sound safeguarding knowledge

Main duties include:

Ensuring the nursery meets Ofsted and early years foundation stage standards
Creating a safe and stimulating environment to promote learning
Updating parents and carers on children's progress
Working with colleagues to meet children's needs
Recruiting staff
Supporting and developing the nursery team
Maintaining records and creating management reports
Complying with environmental, health and safety and fire regulations
Keeping up to date with developments in early years care
Building relationships with relevant agencies
