Secondary General Science Teacher

A well renown and reliable Catholic school who pride themselves on being a culturally diverse family of learners, both students and staff alike, local to Redbridge, are currently recruiting for a KS3 and KS4 Science to join an excellent secondary school located in the East London area for a long term role commencing in January 2020 - Spring term. The ideal candidate for this role will need to demonstrate a trustworthy track record showcasing consistent results and raising attainment, passion towards the academic development of pupils, and ability to engage, empower and encourage students. You will have a passion for learning and teaching Science together with the skills to inspire and motivate students. We want teachers who are willing and adept at personalising learning for every student: who believes passionately in the education of the whole child and fully embraces the core values that characterises our school.
The successful candidate will require the following:
Up to date knowledge of the Science curriculum from KS3 and 4
Qualified Teacher status with strong teaching experience in secondary schools in the UK
Able to support and improve standards of achievement with pupils
Be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work with a positive outlook on Education
Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies.
Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high by creating and delivering exciting and inspirational lessons.
