Special Needs Support Assistant
Job DescriptionWe are currently working with a supporting and friendly school, who are recruiting a Special Needs Support Assistant for an ASAP start.
We are seeking someone who has experience of working with children on the Autistic Spectrum, as well as someone who possesses a calm and patient nature.
The child you are working with is in lower KS2, so it would be ideal if you are experienced in strategies to support with challenging behaviours such as TEAM TEACH, although there is an opportunity for you to gain this qualification through us if not. This is a challenging but incredibly rewarding role where you can make a real difference to a child's life as well as working in a fun and fulfilling environment.
You will be working under the direction of the class teacher and Inclusion Manager, as well as being an integral part of the SEND team, and the school benefits from being well resourced and with a supportive Senior Leadership Team.
In order to apply you will need to have a DBS registered to the online update service and be available to work between 8:30-4:00 Monday-Friday.
