Behaviour Support Assistant

Brent (Closest stations - Colindale or Burnt Oak)

Protocol Education are currently working with a Special Needs school based in Brent, who are looking for an LSA specialising in Challenging Behaviour/Autism. The position will be based within the further education unit in a small class supporting students with Emotional & Behavioural Disorders and Social, Emotional & Mental Health problems.

My client is looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) with a strong personality and confidence to work with students aged 14-19. Students are non-verbal and are all on the spectrum for Autism and range from low to high. You will be working on a 1-2-1 basis with the students.

If you're someone who can take an objective approach to dealing with challenging behaviour, exercise patience and has experience with supporting students or young people with challenging behaviours then this role will be ideal for you.

Previous experience in PRU or Alternative Provision school will be beneficial in this role.

To be eligible to apply for this position, you must have experience working with children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. You will be available to start ASAP and be able to work full school hours 5 days per week
