About the role:
An opportunity has arisen for those passionate about education and childcare. Classroom are currently looking to increase their large pool of enthusiastic and confident individuals to join a flourishing school as an SEN teaching assistant. You will be advertised to our variety of clients across London to find a job that best suits you, this is a good opportunity for those with a high level of teaching assistant experience to demonstrate their ability.
Those with previous experience working in a school environment are suitably matched to this role, SEN/EBD experience is a must.
You will be working with children providing academic and personal progression support.
You will be supporting students with a variety of Special Educational Needs; Autism, ADHD, Emotional Behavioural Difficulties and Speech+Language issues of all differing severity will require your assistance.
Moreover, you will be supporting the teacher with lesson plans and supervising group activities.
You will also be required to collaborate with colleagues to continue to meet the standards required for these children to progress.
As previously mentioned, experience in a support role with children is a must.
Confident and a positive attitude
Strong interpersonal skills
Quality time management skills.
Previous work experience with SEN/EBD individuals is a must!
You must have an ENHANCED DBS, however if you do not possess one, we can get one processed for you!
