Do you have experience and great passion teaching in SEND settings?

Are you looking for a full time position with start from September 2019?

This warm and welcoming SEN school is designed to meet the educational and therapeutic needs for students (age 6 - 16 years). The children and young people have a range of special needs including Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC). You will be ensuring that school is an exciting and social experience for your students by helping to become confident and independent young people.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Using your interests to engage students in learning
-Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons
-Enabling learners to access the curriculum
-Assisting students during class making sure they are on track
-Supporting the pastoral needs of the learners
-Being an active part in setting the learning environment
-Liaising with support staff to ensure a smooth running class

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
-The ability to work with learners that have various learning difficulties
-Confidence to support the lead in groups, in different educational subjects
-The ability to work as an individual and as a part of the team
-Flexibility in your approach to education
-A willingness to learn and build relationships with learners
-Qualified teacher status (QTS)
