Do you enjoy a challenge? Have you got experience of working with people with complex behaviour? Or are you a youth worker or mainstream teaching assistance who would like a change? A primary SEMH school is looking for a LSA teaching assistant.
The school is based in Harrow for pupils aged between 5-11 years old and is a creative and dynamic learning environment. The students have social, emotional and mental health issues. Many have been excluded from other schools but have made great progress academically and socially since attending this school.
This school has a supportive environment with a lot of community partnership work and encourages extra-curricular activities.
The inclusion centre prides itself on creating a nurturing and stimulating environment. They are looking for someone to be committed and enthusiastic in order to establish positive relationships with students and offer support to regulate their feelings. It is incredibly key to maintain high expectations of students to access their learning and ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
The successful candidate must hold a valid enhanced DBS or willing to apply for one upon appointment of position. If you are interested in this role please respond directly to this advertisement.
