Protocol Education are currently working with Secondary Schools in the Wakefield area who are in need of Classroom Supervisors for daily work on a full time and part time basis.
The main role of a Classroom Supervisor is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set in a safe learning environment.
The role involves covering any and all areas of the national curriculum, therefore the right candidate will be someone who has a flexible approach to deal with the varying classroom environments of different departments.
As an ideal candidate you will be interested in working in education and enjoy working with children in a sometimes challenging yet fun environment. You will be given the opportunity to work with a range of pupils in various subjects and locations.
The ideal candidate will:
A desire and passion to work with children and within an educational environment
Have a degree
A valid DBS or willing to apply for one
References to cover the past 3 years
This role would suit people with a variety of backgrounds and experience including but not limited to:
A graduate looking to gain experience within the classroom before committing to a teaching course
NQT looking for more experience within schools before committing to a permanent teaching position
An experienced classroom assistant looking to step up and utilise their current classroom skills
Experience sports coach or youth worker wanting to move in to the education sector
