Job DescriptionAdministration staff are an integral part of any school's staffing structure. Our partner schools are always looking for dedicated, experienced administrative staff. Capita are currently looking to recruit administrative staff to meet the needs of our partner schools.
Administration staff work in areas such as admissions, quality assurance, data management and examinations or in a specialist department such as finance, careers, marketing or human resources.
As an education administrator, you will need to (although not exhaustive):
*Creating and maintaining filing systems
*Scheduling and attending meetings, creating agendas and taking minutes - shorthand may be required
*Keeping diaries and arranging appointments
*Organising travel for staff
*Dealing with telephone and email enquiries
*Organise educational and social activities
*Using Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and to maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases
*Work on committees such as academic boards and task groups
*Assist with recruitment
*Assist with admissions and leavers
*Deal with queries and complaints
*Maintain and develop quality assurance
*Use information systems to prepare reports for internal and external use
*Contribute to planning and policy
*Purchase equipment and goods
*Communicate with partner institutions
What we expect from you:
*DBS on the update system or a willingness to get one
*Administration experience in a school or office setting
*SIMs or similar software system experience
*To be committed to all duties and responsibilities
