1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant for an Outstanding Islington School

About the Role:
Are you a Teaching Assistant with an interest or previous experience in supporting children with additional needs? Are you looking for a role in North London for the whole academic Year? An 'Outstanding' Primary school in Islington are currently looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in their Year 4 classroom who is on the Autistic spectrum. The child you will be supporting is high functioning but is very routine based. This can often result in very challenging behaviour if the child feels that are out of their usual routine. If you are an energetic, organised, resilient individual and have experience of supporting children on the Autistic spectrum, this could be the rewarding role for you.

The school you will be working with is a recently rated 'Outstanding' Primary school in the wonderfully diverse borough Islington. This school has a fantastic reputation in the borough and consistently has a full roll year on year. The school is commutable from all areas of London and sits directly on the Victoria line. You will be offered consistent training on the job and this job could potentially lead to permanent employment.

Requirements for the Role:
Graduate or equivalent teaching assistant qualification, At least 2 years of relevant SEN Teaching Assistant experience, Availability to work until July 2018.

Rate of Pay and Working hours
£70 - £80 per day depending on experience, working hours of 08.30am - 15:45pm

You must have recent and a minimum of six months experience working in primary schools. This experience must be relative to this role. If you do not have this experience we unfortunately will not be able to continue with your application.
