Non-tenure Track Faculty Position Bowling Green State University
Gerontology Program
The Department of Human Services is seeking applicants for a 9-month non-tenure-track position in the Long Term Care Specialization in the Gerontology Program, with a possible start date as early as January 2018.
Applicants must have: an earned Master s Degree in Gerontology or related field; a current nursing home license; and two years experience as a nursing home administrator.
Experience supervising Administrators in Training (AIT s) and experience with Assisted Living, and Home and Community-Based Services are preferred.
Responsibilities include: teaching in the long term care and gerontology program including courses such as nursing home administration, assisted living, home and community-based service management, and healthcare finance.
Other responsibilities include student advising, curriculum development, internship supervision, other program activities and engaging in service and professional development.
