Job Description

Interlochen Center for the Arts ("Interlochen" or "ICA"), a

This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual with proven

will see the impact of that work, both immediately and long-term,
embodied in ICA's vibrant and diverse community.
Interlochen Center for the Arts comprises a unique portfolio of
core assets in the arts, including the nation's first and foremost
summer arts camp, Interlochen Arts Camp ("Camp" or "IAC"); the
premier arts boarding high school in the world, Interlochen Arts
Academy ("Academy" or "IAA"); a year-round arts festival,
Interlochen Presents (IP); a network of seven radio stations
serving Michigan and the world, Interlochen Public Radio (IPR); and
an adult arts education program, Interlochen College of Creative
Arts (ICCA). Interlochen's faculty, staff, and seasonal employees
are accomplished artists and educators in their own right. Today,
Interlochen's student body is more distinguished and diverse than
ever before, comprising 500+ Academy students in grades 9-12, and
2,500+ summer campers, ages 8-18. Interlochen's dedicated 120,000
alumni are recognized worldwide as distinguished leaders,
performers, artists, advocates, and educators.
In its most recent history, Interlochen has experienced
unprecedented growth in capital investments and programmatic
offerings while maintaining financial stability. Its current
financial portfolio, with a fiscal year '17 operating budget of $40
million and an endowment valued at $120 million, is the strongest
in the institution's history. Both Camp and Academy enrollments
have grown steadily over the last decade with newly added areas of
study such as motion picture arts, comparative arts, and
singing/songwriting. A comprehensive series of capital Interlochen

and studio spaces, classrooms, and on-campus housing to further

provost, she or he must have a proven record of leadership and
management success in K-12 or higher education admissions, deep
passion for the arts, and firm understanding of ICA's mission and
culture. The executive dean of enrollment management should be a
data-driven leader, big-picture thinker, campus-wide collaborator,
and lifelong learner with an ambitious spirit and the ability to
articulate a comprehensive and compelling vision for Interlochen's
enrollment management and financial aid strategies going
