Teaching Personnel

Do you hold previous experience supporting challenging youths aged 11-16? Would you like to gain a rewarding position, working across a number of secondary schools in the Oldham area?

Cover Supervisor responsibilities;

*Covering pre-set lessons in the absence of teachers

*Manage behaviour and ensure tasks are completed

*Provide feedback to the department on the progress of pupils in class and report any behavioral issues to them.

*Cover a range of classes in different subject areas including; PE, English, Maths, Science and Humanities

This position requires good behaviour management skills, whereby you will need to be a confident individual who can gain the respect of pupils and lead lessons on your own. This is an excellent opportunity for any graduates/youth workers looking to pursue a career as a teacher in the future. You will be required to cover lessons in the absence of their normal teacher, deliver provided work and ensure pupils stay on task throughout lessons.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
