A primary school in Bishop's Stortford is seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a part-time maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a vibrant and engaged Year 5 class in a supportive and collaborative school environment.

Key Stage 2 (Maternity Cover)

Location: Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire
Start Date: Flexible (September 2026)
Part-Time: Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)
Pay: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

As a Year 5 Class Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Inspire and motivate pupils to become confident, independent learners
• Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners
• Monitor progress and use assessment to drive pupil achievement
• Work closely with colleagues to support planning and share best practice

The role will involve full class responsibility, including planning, teaching, and assessment, in line with school expectations.
