We are supporting a friendly and well-led primary school in Redbridge in their search for a passionate Year 5 Teacher to join them from January on a long-term basis.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to inspire and support pupils in their learning and personal development. You will join a supportive SLT and a collaborative KS2 team, delivering engaging lessons and creating a positive classroom environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Year 5 lessons

• Create an inclusive, stimulating, and nurturing classroom environment

• Support pupils of varying abilities to make excellent progress

• Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues

• Contribute to the wider school community and uphold school values

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS (or equivalent) and experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 5

• Demonstrates strong behaviour management and effective teaching strategies

• Is creative, reliable, and committed to making a positive impact

• Confident and enthusiastic about taking on a long-term role
