Teaching Personnel is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Barnstaple, Devon, starting February.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that challenge pupils academically while supporting their confidence, independence, and curiosity as learners.

• Start Date: February

• Location: Barnstaple, Devon

• Contract: Part-Time - 2 days per week

• Pay: M1-M6 DOE (paid weekly)

• Plan and teach engaging, high-quality Year 5 (KS2) lessons

• Support pupils' progress in reading, writing, and maths

• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

• Uphold safeguarding and child welfare at all times

• Qualified Teacher Status (ECTs welcome)
