KS2 vacancy - full time - Hounslow - September 2020 start - Negotiated salary.

At Teaching Personnel we work closely to provide candidates and schools with the right staff and roles, by being involved in the Hounslow Education Partnership we have access to a wider range of schools across the borough. We are currently recruiting for an experienced KS2 teacher to work within a year 4 class. 

What is the school like?

This large school has undergone a number of changes in recent years, seeing the introductiong of new facilities and opportunities with a brand new site. Through the changes to the infrastruture they have improved the opportunities for staff and students to work in a positive and enriching environment. Whilst being able to offer such great facilities they have reviewed their staff and curriculum, seeing changes in their approach to teaching and learning. 

With such changes they have focused on ensuring all students are developing and work within a positive learning environment. Being a large school they have a clear structured SLT that maintains clear communication, helping teachers and support staff alike to work to their best ability. With their additional SEN unit and high SEN/EAL students across the school they have created an environment that aims to enrich each student's life and teach them the importance of individual differences. 

What responsibilities will i have in this position?

As a year 4 teacher you will be required to plan, prepare and mark all of your lesson/class activities, this will include working closely with other teachers and members of SLT to provide continuity to all students. As a large team there will be regular meetings and opporunities to discuss potential changes and progress, they are always looking for new ways to improve their approach to teaching. 

Parents and carers are a huge part of this role, ensuring there is clear communication with them in regards to progress, development or any potential issues. 

Who is the ideal candidate?

- Experienced working within KS2, particularly year 4 

- Confident working with students with SEN and EAL needs

- Confident working as part of a large team

All salaries and rates of pay are negotiated based on experience, qualification and suitability for the role.
