Smile Education is currently supporting a welcoming and well-regarded school in the Birmingham B9 area in their search for a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join the team from September 2025.
The school, recently graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is recognised for its inclusive ethos, commitment to high standards, and focus on developing well-rounded, confident learners. Staff work collaboratively to provide enriching educational experiences, ensuring every child feels supported, challenged, and inspired.

Role: Primary Teacher (Year 4)
The Role - Year 4 Teacher:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons to Year 4 pupils
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages active participation
- Work closely with your teaching assistant and year group colleagues to support pupil progress
- Monitor, assess, and provide constructive feedback to aid pupil development
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and parent partnerships
Candidate Requirements: ✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised in the UK
✔ Classroom experience within a primary school, ideally Key Stage 2
✔ Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum, with confidence in teaching upper KS2
✔ A commitment to inclusive practice and meeting individual pupil needs
✔ Excellent communication, creativity, and classroom management skills
✔ Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply via Smile Education)
