Supply Desk is working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Stokenchurch, seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils at a key stage in their development, helping them build strong foundations, confidence, and a love for learning.

About the Role

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons and creating a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
  • Creating a stimulating, inclusive classroom that supports all learners  
  • Using adaptive teaching strategies to meet diverse pupil needs
  • Promoting positive behaviour and high expectations
  • Assessing pupil progress and using data to inform planning
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reflective teacher who is committed to making a difference.

You will ideally:

  • Hold QTS or PGCE
  • Have experience teaching Year 4 or KS2
  • Be confident differentiating lessons for mixed-ability classes
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management and organisation
  • Be committed to pupil progress, wellbeing, and safeguarding
  • Be an excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Be eager to engage in CPD and contribute to school life
