A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a hardworking and dynamic primary teacher, seeking work in the Blackburn with Darwen area. The role is full-time, teaching a class of Year 3 pupils, and is planned to start 7th September 2020.

The contract will initially be temporary; however you will be offered a permanent school contract following a successful period of probation.

This position is ideal for a newly qualified teacher looking to take their first step in in their new teaching career. Likewise, as an experienced class teacher possibly seeking a change in setting or a new challenge – this could be just the role for you!

The school has been consistently graded ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted with praise for its good quality education and forward-thinking and ambitious culture, which focuses upon the outcomes of all pupils, both personally and academically.  Children in school behave well, which comes down to the excellent relationships between staff and pupils. In order to be successful in your application, you must hold QTS and recent teaching experience. The Head Teacher hopes to appoint a teacher with a willingness to learn and with keen team spirit, who can fit in well with their valuable team of staff. In addition, the successful candidate will have a positive and caring approach to engaging with pupils, high expectations and a passion for education that shines and shows that learning to be fun as well as purposeful.

The Head Teacher aims to shortlist and interview by 3rd July 2020; however, with the current circumstances, it is possible this could change. Interviews may also be taken place over video conference call.
