Smile Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and vibrant primary school in the Dudley area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in children's lives to work within a supportive school environment.
Role Overview
As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Work with small groups and individual pupils to help them achieve their full potential.
- Assist with classroom preparation and the management of resources.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
- Provide pastoral care and contribute to the overall development of students.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Have prior experience working with children in a school setting (preferably in KS1).
- Be patient, approachable, and highly motivated to support children’s learning.
- Hold a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent).
- Be committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
