We are seeking a caring and committed Year 2 Teacher to join a warm, supportive and well-established infant setting within the Hemel Hempstead area.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a teacher who believes in nurturing the whole child, fostering curiosity, and building strong foundations for future learning. You will join a highly collaborative Key Stage 1 team who prioritise creativity, strong pastoral care, and high-quality teaching and learning.

Contract: Full time

Salary: MPS1 to MPS6

About the role

The ideal candidate will:
* Deliver engaging, well-structured Year 2 lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
* Have strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, including end-of-key-stage expectations
* Create a supportive, inclusive classroom where every child feels valued and confident
* Use ongoing assessment to identify next steps and ensure positive progress
* Build meaningful relationships with children, staff, and families
* Contribute fully to the wider life of a caring, community-focussed school
* Bring energy, warmth, and a reflective approach to teaching

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  * Experience or strong interest in teaching within KS1
  * A nurturing and child-centred teaching style
  * High expectations for behaviour and learning
  * A team player with excellent communication skills
  * Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
