We are working with a vibrant primary school in the B20 area, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher for an immediate start.

About The Role:

  • Enthusiastic about education and teaching–plan and deliverlessons effectively, collaborating with teaching assistants
  • Ability to mark
  • Effectively managing behaviour in the classroom and following the schools behaviour policies
  • Ensuring safeguarding of children
  • Communicating effectively to parents, SENDCo's and other educational professionals if/when needed
  • Confidently and flexibly meeting the diverse needs of students, maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Be flexible to year group/ key stage

About You:

  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Be passionate about delivering engaging and high-quality lessons.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have over 1 year of applicable references
  • Can drive or reliably commute at late notice
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident contributing to the school community
  • Availability for after school meetings, training days and school events
