About the Role

As a Year 1 teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that support the progress of all pupils.
  • Take full responsibility for planning, teaching, and assessment.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and resources.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is Qualified: Holds QTS and has experience or training in primary education (experience teaching Year 1 or Key Stage 1 preferred but not essential).
  • Is Passionate: Demonstrates a love for teaching and a commitment to the progress and well-being of pupils.
  • Is Collaborative: Enjoys working as part of a supportive and proactive team.
  • Is Organized: Can effectively plan and manage classroom responsibilities.
  • Is Creative: Brings fresh ideas and energy to lessons, inspiring young minds.
