Temporary one-year post from September 2020 to join the Key stage 2 teaching team of a primary school north of Manchester city centre.
If you have a track record of successful teaching in KS2 (preferably Year 5/6) Teaching Personnel welcome your application for this opportunity starting in the new academic year. Due to a temporary position, our partner school north Manchester have a vacancy for a KS2 teacher starting in September 2020. This position is initially temporary, with the opportunity to become permanent in 2021. The successful applicant will be joining a supportive team within this inner-city primary school, reporting directly to the phase leader and working alongside a parallel class teacher. Due to restructuring and a promotion into leadership, the vacancy is open for a KS2 teacher who is adept in Year 5 or Year 6 class teaching.
Situated close to the A664 (Rochdale road) and serving the local communities of Blackley, Crumpsall and Cheetham hill this is a diverse, large and oversubscribed two-form entry primary school. The successful KS2 teacher will be fully supported by colleagues and leaders, you’ll work closely with the parallel class teacher to share lesson plans and ensure progress is at the forefront of your teaching. In the last Ofsted inspection, behaviour had shown significant improvement and leadership have dramatically improved standards of teaching and learning outcomes. This is a continually improving school and the Head teacher is pursuing further progress over in the next academic year.
