In the current climate there are 1.6 million children in the UK who are classed as vulnerable and have no form of education to meet their needs. We are seeking experienced educators to deliver core subjects from KS1-GCSE as they await school placements.
The pupils’ you will be supporting are likely to have been out of education for a long time and come from a variety of backgrounds including foster care, residential units and family homes. As a 1:1 tutor you will plan, develop and provide individualised programmes for students in their home environment. Often pupils have varied SEN needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, challenging behaviour, PDA, and trauma.
Tuition requests vary from 1 to 10 hours depending on the needs of the pupil. You are able to accept as much or as little work as you like and is ideal for those looking for flexibility. Likewise, we have capacity to provide multiple students to make up full time hours.
Ideally hold a QTS/PGCE certificate.
