Job Type: Part-time / Flexible / Term-time
Hours: Monday-Friday during school hours
Pay: Competitive hourly rates

We are looking for experienced and motivated 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in home and school settings across the Hinckley area.

The role involves working with children and young people who may require additional educational support, including pupils with SEND, SEMH needs, anxiety, school exclusion, or gaps in learning. Tutors will provide personalised sessions tailored to each pupil's needs and abilities.

  • Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition sessions
  • Support pupils in core subjects including English and Maths
  • Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Build positive relationships and encourage confidence
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress
  • Minimum 2 years of UK teaching or tutoring experience
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Experience supporting SEND/SEMH pupils desirable
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
