Trainee Teaching Assistant

Education and Training

£12.95 - £12.95 Per hour

• Assist the lead teacher in delivering lessons and activities
• Support individual students in their learning and development
• Help with classroom management and behaviour control
• Prepare materials and resources for lessons
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team

Minimum of GCSE level education inc. English and Maths

No prior experience required, training will be provided

• Basic understanding of educational principles
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

• GCSE in English and Maths - Willingness to complete Level 2 TA qualification
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting

• Work in a school environment
• Full-time hours with occasional additional hours as needed
• Potential exposure to challenging behaviour from students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
