Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive and reliable Teaching Assistant to support the classroom teacher in providing high-quality education to students in KS3 - KS5. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with lesson preparation, providing one-on-one or small group support to students, and helping to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the teacher with planning, preparing, and delivering lessons.
• Support students with individual learning needs and provide additional help as necessary.
• Supervise students during class, lunch breaks, and other activities.
• Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Provide feedback on student progress to the classroom teacher.
• Help with administrative tasks such as preparing teaching materials, grading assignments, and organizing resources.
• Support students with special needs or those requiring additional assistance.
• Foster a supportive, safe, and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
• Attend meetings and professional development sessions as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting (preferred, but not required).
• Minimum of 5 GCSE'S.
• Degree in childcare or a simular subject.
• Level 2/3 qualified Teaching Assistant qualification or simular.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
• Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• A genuine interest in supporting student learning and development.
