Job Role: Teaching Assistant (Primary School)

Location: Dorset, Bournemouth

Days/Hours of Work: Monday – Friday (8:30am-3:30pm)

Pay: £300-£550 Per Week (Depending on experience, age, and qualifications)

About the position:

  • Working with groups of children and on a 1:1 basis to enable there learning development.
  • Ensuring the children’s safety in and outside of the classroom.
  • Observing and feeding back to the class teacher.
  • Working alongside the class teacher, following instructions and guidelines.
  • Supervising during lunchtime and break time to ensure all children are safe.

What is needed for the role:

  • Have experience working within schools and children.
  • Transferable skills such as caring, helpful, flexible, able to work well within a team, initiative, adaptable, and being able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Experience working with children who have learning and behavioural difficulties.
  • An enhanced DBS on the updated service (we can assist you in applying!)
