Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 or small group support to meet the individual needs of SEN students.
• Collaborate with Senior Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and Teachers to prepare resources aligned with students’ learning objectives.
• Assist in the development and implementation of personalised learning plans.
• Deliver targeted interventions to support students’ academic progress.
• Monitor and record students’ progress, communicating effectively with staff and parents.
• Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families, contributing to a welcoming, inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt quickly to various school settings, building rapport with both students and colleagues.
• Promote the school’s ethos and support its community-focused culture.
• Uphold Safeguarding policies to maintain a secure and supportive environment for all students.

Requirements

Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant or within an educational setting is preferred.

Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate, are beneficial but not essential.
