A school in South Manchester is seeking a Teaching Assistant to  join the support staff team on a temporary basis.

This role is ideal for those individuals looking for work within a support capacity within a secondary school.

  • Those who have previously worked within a support based role in a school setting. 

It is expected that the required individual will be able to:

  • Support students and staff whenever necessary.
  • Develop adequate educational material/resources to meet the needs of all students, including those with specific SEN/EAL needs. 
  • Monitor and provide consistent feedback to senior staff/other support staff whenever necessary. 
  • Manage factors related student progress, exam preparation, attendence as well as dealing witha ny pastoral issues that may arise. 
  • Work on a 1:1/individual basis with students across a large ability range.
  • Gain invaluable knowledge working across multiple subjects.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
