Teaching Personnel are working closely with a mainstream secondary school based in Daventry, aiding them with the recruitment of a 1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant.  The school require someone to start in September and have highlighted that the incoming member of staff will be working within a bubble for students with additional SEMH needs.

  • Experienced 1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant.
  • Full-time position with the school in requirement of someone who can start in September.
  • Must have experience working with children aged 11-16 in a supportive capacity.
  • Must hold a DBS or be willing to apply for one and register it to the update service.
  • Competitive pay rates in line with your responsibilities.

The school are looking for a permanent solution and there will be an opportunity for progression and to even earn a permanent contract further down the line. The school would be interested in hearing from anyone with a Teaching Assistant qualification and have worked with students with SEMH previously.  However, the school are happy to utilise the additional skills of anyone happy to support with any other needs students may have.
