The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching Religious Education across KS3 and KS4
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for RE
  • Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
  • Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Be dedicated to supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
  • Have the ability to contribute positively to the wider school community


Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated RE lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Support students' academic and personal development
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards across the department
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities where appropriate
