We are seeking a creative, forward-thinking Teacher of Design and Technology to join a thriving secondary school in Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner who can inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
Teach Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4 (specialisms such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, or Graphics welcomed)
Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons
Contribute to curriculum development and the continued improvement of the department
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-organised workshop environment
Assess, track, and report on student progress effectively
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Design and Technology
Ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities
Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
