Support Worker

Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs? A well-respected specialist education setting in the Yeovil area is looking for a caring and motivated Support Worker to join their team supporting students aged 16-18 as they prepare for adulthood.

This inspiring provision offers a supportive and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to build confidence, independence and life skills through meaningful learning experiences.

Students in this specialist provision have a range of Special Educational Needs, including: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and  Complex communication and support needs

• Supporting students in lessons and structured learning activities

• Assisting students during community trips and outdoor activities

• Supporting healthy routines such as exercise and wellbeing activities

• Building positive relationships with students and staff

• Working alongside teachers and specialist professionals.
