Secondary Supply Teachers Required to be part of the Teaching Personnel workforce in the Scarborough and surrounding areas!

We are experiencing a high demand for Supply Teachers as we grow to support various Secondary Schools in and around the Scarborough area.

What to expect as a Supply Teacher: 

Supply Teachers are responsible for delivering pre-prepared work to classes of students in the absence of their permanent class teacher, and are responsible for managing the learning and behaviour of the students in their care. Supply Teachers also fulfil other supervisory and administrative duties, including providing in-class support across any subject. We offer supply work in advance and also on the same morning between 6:45am-8am (latest). You need to be punctual, approachable anf flexible to complete this line of work as you represent Teaching Personnel. 

*Please note the pay rates for Supply Teachers and Instructors are different as UK QTS is required*

Teaching Personnel consider Safeguarding and Background Checks mandatory as part of our workforce. All Educators who register with Teaching Personnel require at least 2 references (from 2 most recent places of work) and all education based references, along with an enhanced DBS check registered to the Update Service. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
