Exciting Opportunity for Special Needs Assistant in Horsham!

Teaching Personnel is thrilled to partner with a delightful school in Horsham, dedicated to pupils with autism. We are seeking energetic, vibrant, and friendly individuals to join our team starting January.

Your Role:

  • Provide ongoing academic and emotional support to primary or secondary aged pupils with varying levels of autism.
  • Work collaboratively within a welcoming and friendly team.
  • Supporting teachers in providing a high standard of teaching.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and providing emotional support.
  • Following safeguarding procedures.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Background in supporting young people in mainstream settings, child support and care workers, or sports enthusiasts.
  • Full-time availability (Mon - Fri, term time only).

Requirements:

  • Child-only DBS registered to the update service, or a willingness to apply.
  • References covering 24 months.
  • Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
