About this role: Candidates will be working with children between the age of 4 to 19 this school is seeking a full-time support assistant who has experience with working with student with extra support within the classroom. They will need to be able to work with minimum supervision but with detailed guideline set out by the learning mentor who will be having regular meetings with the candidate to discuss their progression For the students to reach their greatest potential within the school, you are expected to work with the class teacher to ensure the student is receiving the support needed within the class and to promote the student's independence and encourage social inclusion with the class. It is required of candidates to work with the student individually and within a groups allowing them to take part within the class. The candidate will also be expected to help with planning and finding resources to help the student. You will work with a welcoming, close-knit community that values collaboration to guarantee best practices and uniformity in all classrooms.
