We are looking for a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 4 - 18 within an inspiring and nurturing specialist learning environment in Salisbury. This is a flexible role, offering full-time with part-time opportunities with an immediate start.

 

Working Hours & Pay

  • Typical hours: 8.15am to 3pm

  • Some weekday finish times may vary

  • £13.75 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN)

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support

  • Help create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment

  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months' childcare experience, ideally supporting children with SEN needs

  • A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach

  • Ability to adapt to different age groups and needs
